Cape Coral Kiwanis Celebrates Red, White and Brew


South Cape will get into the Fourth of July spirit a few days early, when Cape Coral’s best restaurants and entertainment establishments celebrate the Kiwanis Cape RED, WHITE and BREW! $15.00 – Includes Free Beer and complimentary appetizer samplings. 16 Downtown South Cape Coral locations will participate. Each location will serve a domestic beer and have complimentary appetizers to every ticket holder between 7 and 11 pm. Kiwanis will be shuttling participants to each of the locations via trolley starting from the two check-in locations, Big Johns Plaza on 47th Terrace and the back parking lot of the Leaping Lizard on Cape Coral Pkwy South.

The wristband will allow them to use the trolleys during the event, as well as after the event has ended.

This is a 21+ event. You must present a valid and current form of photo identification upon check-in.

Easter in the Cape

The Cape Coral Kiwanis Club is hosting its inaugural Easter Egg Hunt at Four Freedoms Park off Cape Coral Parkway on Saturday, an event organizer Sam Huber feels will give something fun and positive back to the community.

Huber said other Kiwanis Clubs host similar events and he felt the time was right to bring the event to the Cape. Continue reading

Kiwanis Club’s first Easter egg hunt a big draw in the Cape

Approximately 3,500 eggs are laid out in the grass, with a few hidden for older children to find. Eggs are filled with candy, small toys, certificates for free ice cream cones, fishing poles, baseball gear and other prizes. Continue reading
