On Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at the weekly Kiwanis Club meeting, Cape Coral Mayor, John Sullivan, bestowed the honor of proclaiming April 20, 2012 as Kiwanis Club of Cape Coral Day. In addition to celebrating their 51st year, the Kiwanis Club of Cape Coral was also recognized for being the oldest service club in the City of Cape Coral. They have given more than $20 million to local charities and scholars and raised $175,000 this year that will be given in the form of scholarships to local deserving students. Continue reading

Urban Forestry, along with the Cape Coral Kiwanis Club is proud to announce the upcoming Fish Fry on April 22nd from 4-8PM at the Cape Coral Kiwanis Hall and YMCA, located at 360 Santa Barbara Blvd, Cape Coral FL, 33993. The new hall is next to the Lake Kennedy Senior Center, south of the inter- section of Pine Island Road and Santa Barbara Blvd.
This event will be open to Kiwanis, Urban Forestry, guests, sponsorships, and anyone interested in a delicious meal with good friends, but seats are limited, as we want every guest leaving full. Continue reading
