Highlights included a costumed bunny rabbit, representatives from the Cape Coral Police Department’s K-9 unit with their dogs, motorcycle policeman, and the fire department firemen who came with their fire truck. Youngsters got to sit on the motorcycle and inside the fire engine where they were given red firemen’s hats.
Builders Club and Key Club members filled plastic eggs with candy and dispersed them/put them out/scattered them on the ground to be found by the kids. AKTION Club members provided face painting and 5 games to occupy the youngsters while they waited for their turn to look for Easter eggs. Some of the Easter eggs contained slips of paper with the word PRIZE on them. These gave the youngsters prizes which included fishing rods and large baskets filled with candy, books, and toys.
